Follow Me leverages Cortana’s abilities to offer guided navigation. To showcase the feature, WalkingCat published a video of its in action. With Cortana voice assistance, users are guided with visual prompts on the screen. It is worth noting that the navigation here means around the Windows 10 UI. That means Follow Me could make navigating the platform easier. In the video, we can see how a user can connect a Bluetooth device. A blue circle offers advice about which menus to click to get there. The Follow Me tool can be turned off by using ESC, but we think it could have usefulness for Windows 10 users, especially newcomers.

Microsoft has been working on using Cortana to improve the Windows 10 PC experience. The company has already showcased the ability to set up a PC with voice commands. “Alexa as a guest on Cortana Cortana as a guest on Alexa With Cortana as a guest on Alexa, Alexa users will have access to some of Cortana’s most useful productivity capabilities that help people stay organized and on top of what’s important to them. What if you’re making breakfast in the morning and need to know if you have enough time to drop off the dry-cleaning before work? On your Alexa device, you can say, “Alexa, open Cortana,” and ask when your first meeting is. If you won’t have enough time, simply ask Alexa to open Cortana again and set a reminder for the end of your workday to drop off the clothes.”
