This will be Microsoft basically ending Windows 10 Creators Update in preview. The company will then turn its attention to Redstone 3, the next feature update due later in the year. For the Creators Update, Microsoft is finalizing the release candidate which will come to Windows Insiders next week. This will be the final preview release before Microsoft makes Windows 10 Creators Update generally available. Over the last couple of weeks, Insider preview builds have rolled out at a rapid pace. However, these builds have arrived with limited features. This suggested Microsoft was shoring up the OS for fixes and bugs, while also making sure performance was good.
Windows 10 Creators Update Release
In other words, almost all of the main Creators Update features have already rolled out to Insiders. We already know this is how Microsoft operates with its Windows 10 feature updates. The company did the same with the Anniversary Update last year. Also following the Anniversary Update will be Microsoft rolling out the Creators Update in waves. This staged release allows the company to manage any problems more easily. Last year, the Anniversary Update was meant to launch on Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile at the same time. However, the Windows 10 Mobile release was delayed several weeks. Microsoft has learned from that and we know the Windows 10 Creators Update will come to PCs and then mobile later.
