Call Links will sit under the CALLS tab, allowing users to easy access the feature and generate shareable links. Microsoft says the features, which landed in 2019, allows customers to have “visibility into how your organization works.” It highlights information about how employees operate, including email use, connectivity uptime, and shows a percentage for productivity. Reports suggest the tool also allows admin to find more individual data by default....

Users found that signing into their Microsoft Account kept rejecting the password. Other errors included two-factor authentication had failed, or the account could not be found at all. The authentication issue started early in the morning. I was personally unable to login to my Microsoft Account. This extended to Outlook, Xbox Live, and Skype, and others have confirmed that it also affected OneDrive. Indeed, it seems the problem was spread across all services that require a Microsoft Account to sign in....

Two years on, not a whole lot has changed for the two companies. As Microsoft promised, it’s left LinkedIn largely to its own devices, with only a few key integrations. However, as ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley points out, integrating data graphs was a key goal. So far, progress on that front has been slow. In a bulletin, Microsoft points out this vulnerability is the same that was observed by Google, resulting its own recall of BLE Titan security keys during May. Microsoft security engineers Erik Peterson and Matt Beaver found the flaw earlier this year and it has since been listed as CVE-2019-2102. If exploited, a bad actor could have paired an unwanted BLE device to a user’s device. A problem in the BLE pairing protocol means this could have happened without the users knowing....
This is the ninth preview release of Redstone 5 to drop on the Skip Ahead branch since February. Because Redstone 4 is delayed, Redstone 5 is still hanging around on Skip Ahead and has not reached the Fast Ring yet. Before this release, Chromium Edge would only add a darker visual when browsing in the InPrivate mode. This would work for users running Edge’s standard mode, but if they have dark mode toggled there is no way to know if InPrivate mode is on or not (aside from remembering if you selected it). While the actual Patch Tuesday release is not the root cause, it is starting the problem. Some PCs were freezing completely because of the update. When users try to reset the machine to restore it, they find that their reset “Move everything” option is not working. This means the PC stays broken.
