Starting with Project Volterra, Microsoft says this is a mini PC device that it has built in collaboration with Qualcomm. Specifically, by using an ARM-based Snapdragon processor and a neural processing unit (NPU). This device will allow developers to create native AI apps for the cloud. Volterra is a relatively non-descript mini PC that seems to take design cues from Apple’s Mac Mini. Microsoft points out it is stackable, so developers can link multiple Project Volterra units together....

Specifically, The Guardian reports the AI editor failed to tell the difference between two mixed race members of the pop group Little Mix. Microsoft News AI published a story that was about Little Mix member Jade Thirlwall’s problems facing racism. AT&T describes Xandr as a first-tier affiliate. The firm serves as AT&T’s advertising and analytics division through its platform know as Community. Community is an ad marketplace for buying and selling digital ads. Various products include Xandr Monetize, Xandr Invest, Invest TV, and Xandr Curate. In the video, we can see the transition of Project xCloud from mobile to PC looks fairly seamless. Microsoft is currently still developing the PC version of the service so there may be some obvious differences when it is launched. According to the report, there was no latency when playing Project xCloud on PC. It is worth noting the PC in question is Microsoft’s Surface Pro X, which is the company’s first ARM-based device....

Windows Insiders have been able to download the latest ISO preview on the Fast Ring since last week, and it has now moved to more Insiders. In an unusual move, Microsoft has decided to keep the older ISO build 18343 available. That is a non Windows 10 20H1 release that has been available since March. Microsoft files this update under the SLOW branch and the newest build 18912 ISO on the FAST branch....

Pedram Rezaei (@pedram_re), Microsoft Maps & Local Services Division CTO, took to Twitter to confirm SwiftKey’s comeback. In the tweet, Rezaei said Microsoft reversed its decision based on customer demand. It seems SwiftKey users caused enough traction for Microsoft to change its mind. Furthermore, the Microsoft exec says not only is SwiftKey returning to iOS, but the company is going to be “investing heavily in the keyboard”.
