It seems the company used Preview Build 18272 to make some Start Menu improvements in Windows 10 19H1. Specifically, users can now unpin more than one application from the Start Menu at once. To do this, you just need to right-click a group name or tile folder to select more than one app. As this is a preview release, it is only available on the Windows Insider Program. In fact, while the change is on the Fast Ring with the rest of Preview Build 18272, Microsoft is limiting availability. The company has only allowed around 50% of users to access this feature, according to Microsoft engineer Jen Gentleman. “Something new we’re rolling out that I figured you guys would appreciate – basically if you right-click on a group name or tile folder in Start you’ll now get an option to unpin the whole thing. Makes it a lot faster to start fresh. Currently this is available for 50% of Insiders on Build 18272 – we’ll let you know when it rolls out to the rest of the people on this build,” she said.

As we reported yesterday, Microsoft also made some changes to the Windows Console. Users zoom into specific contents of the Windows Console screen. Users can do this simply by selecting Control with Mouse Scroll Wheel/Trackpad combination. Importantly, the zoom function is available across all Consoles, including Cmd, WSL, PowerShell, and more. Elsewhere, Microsoft says Windows Console now know which theme you are using.
