Windows Insider Program members can currently test Timeline in the Windows Store. To do so, you will need to be on either the Fast Ring or Release Preview Ring. The integration is part of Microsoft Store version 11809.1001.4.0, which is testing on those branches. Windows 10 Timeline gives users in Windows 10 the ability to see what they are doing at a particular time. It is a PC version of Microsoft’s “Pick Up Where You Left Off” feature. Using the Timeline lets you see activity through past Windows 10 use, set out in cards for more efficient movement between apps. Microsoft plans to make activities dynamic across devices, allowing users to pick up any Windows 10 device and have a connected experience. Timeline is a powerful tool for tracking apps, files, and website activity.
Microsoft Store Integration
In terms of integration with the Microsoft Store, the feature will keep tabs on applications opened in the Store. This tracked activity will be presented in Timeline’s familiar card layout. To be honest, I am scratching my head as to why users would want to do this. I guess some may want to see which apps they have visited in recent weeks. Timeline debuted on Windows 10 with the launch of the April 2018 Update. Since then, the feature arrived on the Photos app and Microsoft Edge.
